			<p>AppsTML Sinhala Keyboard is a single file browser-based application 
			 that enables you to type in Sinhala to a user defined textarea. 
			The typed content can be cut and pasted to (as well as pasted from) 
			MS applications (windows, word, notepad, wordpad, etc.), internet applications 
			( e.g. e-mail, textboxes in html documents, etc.) and other applicable 
			programs. It operates off-line thus an internet connection is not needed. 
			Requirements for satisfactory operation of the application is listed 
			in subsequent sections. </p>
			<br />
			<a class="head1" href="#bktop" name="sysrqmt">System Requirements</a>
			<ul>
				<li>Given that the application runs via an internet browser, a functioning 
				browser program is essential (internet connection is not required). 
				The functionality and the appearance of the program will vary with 
				the browser and version. Internet Explorer 8+ and comparable browsers 
				should enable the application to function as intended. Earlier versions 
				may produce none or partial functionality.</li>
				<li>System requirements in terms of the speed, memory etc. for the 
				application itself is insignificant compared to the requirement 
				of the browser program and Sinhala language support (<a href="#SinLanSup">see 
				details</a>). </li>
				<li>The layout of the keyboard was arranged with a minimum screen 
				resolution of 1024 x 768. Display settings of a lower resolution 
				is likely to produce irregular results. In such cases consider an 
				adjustment of the browser window zoom feature and
				<a href="#wkspcsu">workspace setup</a> in the AppsTML Sinhala Keyboard.
				</li>
			</ul>
			<a class="head2" href="#bktop" name="SinLanSup">Sinhala Language Support</a>
			<p>In order to view Sinhala script on the on-screen keyboard and textarea, 
			the computer must have Sinhala language support. MS Windows Vista and 
			subsequent releases of Windows have Sinhala language 
			support. However, Xp and older version of Windows require Sinhala language 
			support (Sinhala Unicode) to be installed from an external source. Sinhala 
			Unicode support kits are available to download from sources such as:</p>

			<a class="head1" href="#bktop" name="OScrnkbrd">On-Screen Keyboard</a><p>
			Mouse click on a key (button) in the on-screen keyboard generates the character 
			in a particular location (cursor position or highlighted range) in the textarea.
			 Other keys in the on-screen keyboard:</p>
			<ul>
				<li>Clear All – Deletes all content in a textarea.</li>
				<li>Backspace – Deletes the previous character (from position of the cursor) in the textarea. </li>
				<li>Space – Creates an empty space in the textarea.</li>
			</ul>
			<a class="head2" href="#bktop" name="kbrdarng">Sinhala Script  
			Arrangement </a>
			<ul>
				<li>Characters in the second row (with several exceptions) can be 
				considered the vowels in the Sinhala alphabet. </li>
				<li>Characters in the third and fourth row are consonants.</li>
				<li>The fourth and fifth row contains characters that are termed 
				as the signs (or vowel signs) of the Sinhala script. Signs are attached 
				to consonants to produce vocalic variations. </li>
			</ul>
			<p><a class="head2" href="#bktop" name="TpSinScr">Typing in Sinhala</a>:</p>
			<ul>
				<li>Vowels are typed in as a single character. Signs generally are 
				not conjoined to vowels.</li>
				<li>Consonants should be typed before the sign even if the sign 
				appears prior to the consonant in the sequence of characters ( e.g. 
				ක then ෙ produces කෙ).</li>
				<li>Special signs, <span lang="SI-LK" style="font-family: Iskoola Pota,sans-serif">්‍ර </span> 
				(or ්ර) and
				<span lang="SI-LK" style="font-family: Iskoola Pota,sans-serif">
				්‍ය </span>(or ්ය) should be typed straight after the consonant. 
				Additional signs can be inserted thereafter. </li>
				<li>Certain signs keys produces varying character shapes based on the attached consonant 
				( eg. ම + ු → මු whereas ක 
				+ ු → කු and ක + ් → ක් whereas ම + ් → ම් )</li>
			</ul>
			<p>NB: AppsTML Sinhala keyboard does not contain all the characters used 
			in the Sinhala script. However, attempts were made to ensure that most 
			frequently used characters in the alphabet are available. Those that 
			do not appear could be inserted into the textarea by changing the language 
			setting of the physical keyboard and pressing the appropriate keys. </p>
			<br />
			<p><a class="head1" href="#bktop" name="wkspcsu">Workspace setup</a></p>
			<p>AppsTML Sinhala keyboard allows you to resize the main textarea and 
			change the font size in the textarea. Simply replace default values 
			and click "Ok" to change settings.</p>
			<ul>
				<li>Width – The default width of the textarea is 1000px. It can 
				be increased (e.g. 1500px) or decreased (e.g. 500px) as an amount 
				of pixels or another appropriate unit of measurement (e.g. 500em, 
				50%, etc.).</li>
				<li>Height – Change the height of the textarea from the default 
				(200px) by replacing the value to a desired height in an appropriate 
				unit of measurement (px, em).</li>
				<li>Font size – Is the size of the font in the textarea/s . It is 
				not the size of the font that would appear once pasted to a html 
				or text document (e.g. word document). The option was created to 
				allow the user to view the content at a desired font size. </li>
				<li>Fixed keyboard and/or menu - Checking the selection box(s) locks the 
				keyboard and/or menu in to a fixed position on the screen. </li>
				<li>Default button – Returns editable values back to default settings.
				</li>
			</ul>

			<p>Undo/Redo – The undo button can retrieve content from upto 10 previous 
			actions. The redo button returns the content back to the original from 
			an undo step.</p>

			<p>AppsTML Sinhala Keyboard (ඔස්ටීඇම්එල් සිංහළ කීබෝඩ්) යනු බ්‍රවුසර් (browser) 
			ක්‍රමලේඛ (program) මගින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන application එකකි. එයින් textarea 
			එකකට සිංහෙළන් ටයිප් කිරීමට 
			ඉඩ ලබාදේ. ටයිප් කළ තොරතුරු MS application වලට (උදා: Windows OS, Word, 
			Notepad, WordPad, etc.) සහ අන්තර් ඡාලයේ text ඇතුල් කීරීමට තිබෙන ස්ථානයටද 
			( උදා: e-mail , HTML document textboxes, etc.) cut and paste කළ හැකිය. AppsTML Sinhala Keyboard 
			භාවිතා කිරීමට අවශ්‍යදේ පහත විස්තර කර ඇත.</p>

			<a class="head1" href="#bktop2" name="sysrqmt2">කොම්පියුටර් system අවශ්‍යතා 
			(system requirements)</a>
			<ul>
				<li>AppsTML Sinhala Keyboard එක ඉන්ටනෙට් බ්‍රවුසර් ප්‍රෝග්‍රෑම් (internet 
				browser program) එකක් මගින් ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ. එසේ වුවත් අන්තර් ඡාලයට 
				සම්බන්ධ කිරීමට (internet connection) අවශ්‍ය නැත. මෙම ප්‍රෝග්‍රෑමයේ 
				ක්‍රියාත්මකවීම හා පෙනෙන ආකාරය බ්‍රවුසර් version එක අනුව වෙනස්වේ. 
				Internet Explorer 8+ සහ එයට සමාන බ්‍රවුසර් ප්‍රෝග්‍රෑම් වලින් මේ 
				application එක කාර්යක්ෂමව ක්‍රියාත්මක කරයි. පැරණි බ්‍රවුසර් version 
				යොදාගත්විට එය අඩක් ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමට හෝ ක්‍රියාත්මක නොවීමට ඉඩ ඇත.
				</li>
				<li>මේ application එක සඳහා කොම්පියුටර් වේගය හා මෙමරි‍ය ගැන සැලකීම 
				අවශ්‍යත නොවේ. </li>
				<li>AppsTML Sinhala Keyboard එක උපරිම පරිදි ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට 1024x768ට 
				වැඩි resolution (රෙසලූෂන්) එකක් අවශ්‍යය. ඊට පහළ resolution එකකදී 
				යහපත් ප්‍රතිඵල පෙන්නුම් කිරීමට ඇති ඉඩ සීමාවේ. එවැනි විටක browser 
				window zoom feature සහ AppsTML Sinhala Keyboard එකේ
				<a href="#wkspcsu2">workspace සැකසීම</a> මගින් පෙනුම වෙනස්කිරීමට 
				හැකිදැයි තැත්කර බලන්න. </li>

			Language Support)</a>
			<p>On screen keyboard (සිංහල keyboard කොටස) එකේ හා textarea හි, සිංහළ 
			අක්ෂර (script) පෙන්වීම සඳහා කොම්පියුටරයට sinhala language support පහසුකම 
			තිබිය යුතුය. වින්ඩෝස් විස්ටා (MS Windows Vista) සහ වින්ඩෝස් 7(windows 
			7) වල sinhala language support පහසුකම් ඇත. XP හා පැරණි Window versions 
			ඇති කම්පුටර්වලට පිටතින් (external) sinhala language support (i.e. Sinhala 
			Unicode) පහසුකම ලබාගත යුතුවේ.</p>

				සැලකිය හැකිය. </li>
				<li>තුන්වන හා හතරවන පේලිවල ඇති අක්ෂර නිත්‍ය අක්ෂරය (consonants).</li>
				<li>පස්වන හා හයවන පේලිවල ඇති සලකුණුය (sign or vowel sign). නිත්‍ය 
				අක්ෂර වලට මෙම සලකුණු සම්බන්ධ කිරීමෙන් ස්වර වෙනස්කම් ඇතිවේ. </li>
			</ul>
			<p><a class="head2" href="#bktop2" name="TpSinScr2">සිංහෙළන් ටයිප් කිරීම</a>:</p>
			<ul>
				<li>ප්‍රාණාක්ෂර තනි අකුරු ලෙස ටයිප් විය යුතුය. සලකුණු සාමාන්‍යයෙන් 
				ප්‍රාණක්ෂර සමග සම්බන්ධ නොවේ.</li>
				<li>නිත්‍ය අක්ෂර මුලින් ටයිප් කල යුතු අතර ‚ සලකුණ ඊටපසුව ටයිප් කරන්න. 
				සලකුණ ඉදිරියෙන් තිබුනද‚ එය නිත්‍ය අක්ෂරයට පසුව ටයිප් කල යුතුය. (උදා:- 
				“කෙ” ටයිප් කිරීමට අවශ්‍යවූ විට “ක” පලමුව ටයිප් කර පසුව “ෙ” (කොම්බුව) ටයිප් 
				කිරීමෙන් “කෙ” අකුර ඇතිවේ.</li>
				<li>විශේෂ සලකුණු ( ්‍ර or ්ර and ්‍ය or ්ය) ටයිප් කලයුතු වන්නේ නිත්‍ය 
				අක්ෂරය ටයිප් කිරීමෙන් පසුවය. තවත් අමතර සලකුණු මේ ආකාරයට එකතු කල 
				හැකිය. </li>
				<li>එකම සලකුනක් වුවද වෙනත් නිත්‍ය අක්ෂර හා සම්බන්ධ කරන විට, එහි 
				හැඩය වෙනස් විය හැක ( උදා: ම+ු→මු , ක+ු→කු    හා    ම+්→ම්, ක+්→ක් )</li>
			</ul>
			<p>සැලකිය යුතුයි: සිංහළ හෝඩියේ ඇති අකුරු සියල්ලම AppsTML sinhala keyboard 
			එකට ඇතුලත්ව නැත. එසේ වුවත් නිතර භාවිතාවන සිංහළ හෝඩියේ අක්ෂර ඇතුලත් කිරීමට 
			උත්සාහ ගෙනඇත. එහෙත් එසේ නැතිවිට language setting වෙනස්කොට physical keyboard 
			එකෙහි නියමිත අකුරු textarea එකට ටයිප් කල හැකිය. නැතහොත් වෙනත් ක්‍රමද 
			ඇත (උදා:- සිංහළ අක්ෂර පෙන්නුම්කරන image file මගින්).</p>

			<p><a class="head1" href="#bktop2" name="wkspcsu2">Workspace සැකසීම
			</a></p>
			<p>AppsTML sinhala keyboard මගින් textarea එකෙහි ප්‍රමාණය (size) වෙනස් 
			කළහැකි අතර, අකුරේ ප්‍රමාණය (font size)වෙනස් කිරීමටද පුලුවන. පලමුවෙන් 
			තිබෙන ප්‍රමාණය (Default value) වෙනස් කොට "Ok" button click කිරීමෙන් 
			එසේ වෙනස් කෙරේ.</p>
			<ul>
				<li>Width - Textarea එකේ පලල (width) default ප්‍රමාණය 1000px වේ. 
				එය අවශ්‍ය ප්‍රමාණයට වැඩිකල (උදා:- 1500px, 500em, 150%, etc. ) හෝ අඩුකල 
				(උදා:- 500px, 500em, 50%, etc.) හැකිය . </li>
				<li>Height- Default උස (height) ප්‍රමාණය 200pxකි. එයද අවශ්‍ය ලෙස 
				වෙනස් කිරීමට හැකිය. </li>
				<li>Font size - Default අකුරුවල ප්‍රමාණය (font size) 2em වේ. එයත් 
				වුවමනානම් ඉහත පරිදිම වෙනස්කල හැක. </li>
				<li>Fixed keyboard and/or menu – Selection box එක තෝරාගතහොත් keyboard 
				හෝ/සහ menu එක monitor screen එකේ ස්ථීර තැනකට පැමිණවිය හැක. </li>
				<li>Default - Default button එක මගින් වෙනස්කල වටිනාකම් පලමු ප්‍රමාණයට 
				ආපසු ගෙන එයි.</li>
			</ul>

			<a class="head1" href="#bktop2" name="mnftrs2">මෙනූ ලක්ෂණ (Menu Features)</a>
			<p>Undo/Redo – Undo button එක එබීමෙන් පසුගිය ක්‍රියාවලි (actions) 10ක් 
			දක්වා නිෂ්ප්‍රභාකෙරේ. Redo button එක එබීමෙන් undo කල ක්‍රියාවල් නැවත 
			ගෙන්වා ගැනීමට හැකිය. </p>
